Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

3-Day Right to Cancel

In accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), you have the right to cancel your contract with Family Affair Credit Repair LLC within three (3) business days of signing, without penalty or obligation.

To cancel within the 3-day period:

  • Send written notice to our office address
  • Email us at cancellation@familyaffaircr.com

Full refund: If you cancel within 3 business days, you will receive a complete refund of all fees paid, including setup fees.

Cancellation After 3-Day Period

After the initial 3-day cancellation period, you may still cancel your services with thirty (30) days written notice. However, fees already paid are non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • We fail to provide services as outlined in your contract
  • We violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Extraordinary circumstances as determined on a case-by-case basis

No Refunds Policy

Except as specified above, all fees paid to Family Affair Credit Repair LLC are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Monthly service fees for services already rendered
  • Setup fees after the 3-day cancellation period
  • Fees for work completed prior to cancellation

Refund Process

When a refund is authorized:

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
  • Bank processing times may vary (typically 3-5 business days)

Partial Service Refunds

We do not offer prorated or partial refunds for incomplete months of service. Monthly fees cover the entire month of service availability, regardless of when you choose to cancel within that month.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card company or bank without first contacting us to resolve the issue:

  • We will immediately suspend all services
  • We will provide documentation of services rendered to your financial institution
  • Additional fees may apply for chargeback processing
  • Services will not resume until the dispute is resolved

Service Guarantee Limitations

While we work diligently to improve your credit profile, we cannot guarantee specific results. Our refund policy does not include refunds based on:

  • Unsatisfactory credit score improvements
  • Time required to achieve results
  • Credit bureau or creditor responses
  • External factors affecting your credit
