Last Updated: May 28, 2025
Welcome to Family Affair Credit Repair LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging with our services or accessing our website at familyaffaircr.com, you (“you” or “client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Before we begin providing services, you will be provided with a written contract as required by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), which will outline the specific services, fees, and your rights. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.
1. Services Provided
Family Affair Credit Repair LLC provides credit repair services to assist clients in improving their credit profiles. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzing your credit reports from major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion).
- Identifying inaccuracies, errors, or unverifiable items on your credit reports.
- Preparing and filing disputes with credit bureaus and creditors on your behalf.
- Providing guidance and education on credit management.
A detailed description of the services to be provided, including an estimated timeline for results, will be outlined in the written contract you receive before services begin, as required by CROA. We do not guarantee specific results, as outcomes depend on various factors, including the accuracy of the information on your credit reports and the responses of credit bureaus and creditors.
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best possible service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including your personal details, credit reports, and any correspondence with creditors or credit bureaus.
- Promptly notify us of any changes to your contact information or credit status.
- Respond to requests for additional information or documentation in a timely manner.
- Refrain from engaging other credit repair organizations while enrolled in our services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to credit repair.
3. Fees and Payment
- Service Fees: Our fees for credit repair services are outlined on our Services page at familyaffaircr.com/services. Fees may include a one-time setup fee and monthly service fees, depending on the plan you select.
- Payment Terms: Payments for services rendered by Family Affair Credit Repair LLC will be due and payable only after the agreed-upon services have been fully performed, in accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). You will be invoiced for the completed services, and payment must be made within the terms specified on the invoice, typically within 15 days of receipt. We accept payments via credit card through our secure checkout process. Late payments may result in a suspension of services until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
- Refunds: You have the right to cancel this agreement within 3 business days without penalty, as outlined in Section 5 below. After this period, fees are non-refundable for services that have been fully performed, unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy at familyaffaircr.com/refund-policy.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Credit repair outcomes vary based on individual circumstances. While we will make reasonable efforts to dispute inaccurate or unverifiable items on your credit reports, we cannot guarantee:
- The removal of any specific item from your credit report.
- A specific increase in your credit score.
- A specific timeline for results, as credit bureau responses are outside our control.
5. Right to Cancel
In accordance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), you have the right to cancel this agreement without penalty or obligation within three (3) business days from the date you sign the written contract for our services. To cancel, you must notify us in writing by emailing info@familyaffaircr.com or mailing your cancellation notice to Family Affair Credit Repair LLC, 327 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071. If you cancel within this period, any payments made will be refunded in full within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation notice.
6. Termination of Services
- By You: After the 3-day cancellation period, you may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice to info@familyaffaircr.com. No refunds will be issued for services that have been fully performed prior to termination.
- By Us: We reserve the right to terminate services if you fail to comply with these Terms, fail to make payments, or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity. In such cases, no refunds will be issued for services already performed.
7. Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your personal information. All data you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at familyaffaircr.com/privacy-policy. We will not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services (e.g., with credit bureaus or creditors) or as required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Family Affair Credit Repair LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of credit opportunities, financial losses, or emotional distress. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services. This limitation does not affect any rights you may have under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
9. Compliance with Laws
We operate in compliance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and other applicable federal and state laws. You acknowledge that:
- You have the right to dispute items on your credit report yourself without hiring a credit repair organization.
- We will provide you with a written contract and a “Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law” notice before beginning services, as required by CROA.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Birmingham, Alabama.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
